Pharm to Food Selected for Inaugural Aggie Venture Accelerator Cohort

Davis, CA — Pharm to Food has been selected as one of three startups in the inaugural cohort of the Aggie Venture Accelerator (AVA), a new initiative launched by the UC Davis Innovation and Economic Development Office in partnership with The March Group. Designed to support early-stage life science startups, the accelerator provides founders with mentorship, entrepreneurial training, strategic guidance, and industry connections to help translate innovative research into solutions.

Chosen through a competitive application process, Pharm to Food joins fellow cohort members SinewUS and ThriveSpan Labs, representing a diverse range of technologies advancing human health. Pharm to Food develops advanced analytical tools that generate actionable molecular insights for food and health companies, helping accelerate product development through the characterization of chemical compounds.

Over the next four months, the founding teams will participate in an intensive accelerator program featuring twice-weekly workshops, one-on-one mentorship, and guidance from industry experts and investors. The program is structured to help startups strengthen their business foundations, reduce technical and market risk, and prepare for future fundraising opportunities. The cohort will conclude with a Demo Day, where participating companies will present their technologies and business strategies to venture capital firms and angel investors.

As the inaugural AVA cohort begins, Pharm to Food looks forward to collaborating with mentors, investors, and fellow entrepreneurs while continuing its mission of advancing next-generation tools that improve human, animal, and planetary health through molecular analysis.
